Bright Effects low energy light bulbs do not last as long as promised on their packaging and they do not stand behind the product unless you save your receipt! The package promises 7,000-8,000 hours and my bulbs are getting no where close to that amount. They cost five times what a conventional bulb costs and their value proposition is that they offer so many more hours of use. Not true! This os the third time that I’ve had a problem with Low Energy bulbs not delivering what they say they do. Sylvania and GE are also guilty of misleading the public. There needs to be a consumer revolt, or regulations to prevent this sort of misleading advertising.
