Costas DVD Lanark, Ontario Alabama Review

Before I made this purchase, I contacted the phone number 973-500-3122 advertised on the Costas DVD website www.ibuy-dvd.com. They explained that the website and support was located in Toronto, ON and that product was shipped via post office from China. They did go on to say that these DVD were legal copies and they had done their homework with Canada Post to ensure expeditious delivery. On Apr 4, 2014 I ordered 4 sets of DVDs from Costas DVD, order number 0528218552 for US$374.76. When the DVDs finally showed up in the last week of May, they had shipped duplicates of one DVD set and one completely incorrect set and not shipped the final 4th set of DVD at all. I have numerous email from their support person, Rene Sadler. He did arrange for shipping of the correct sets of DVD. However numerous disks wouldnt play properly. Just by looking at the back of the DVD you could tell they hadnt been correctly copied, that large portions of the disk were not burned and still blank. After lots of emails discussing poor product quality, on June 20 I mailed the u201cDark Angelu201d & u201cHerculesu201d collections via Canada Post to the address in China that Rene Sadler specified, namely: Name : Xiang Z, Address : Guangzhou s**+, Baiyun District Tong Jia Lu No. 223, Unit A4, Postal Code : 510407, City: Guangzhou, Country : China. The Canada Post tracking number is CC 201 373 579 CA, which cost me another Can$53.85. The expected refund of US$187 never materialized in my RBC Visa account. The refund transaction ID 900691554822 that Rene Sadler keeps referencing may be a valid reference for a Chinese bank, but RBC Visa (phone 800-769-2512) confirmed to me on Oct 7 that this number is too short for a refund number and too long for a purchase authorization. RBC Visa searched my account and found only the original purchase transaction, which was shown as: +16502300824 LUGIP.COM BEIJING posted on Apr 7. They found no sign whatsoever of a refund. The 9 replacement DVD for the collection “Outer Limits”” are still outstanding. Rene Sadler inisists they are coming

but has not yet provided a tracking number

as per previous shipments. Today
