This person posted an ad on craigslist stating that he is looking for someone to drive his daughter Daisy around to do performance evaluations at hospitals. He is using the name of one of the greatest artists who ever lived (John Lennon) to perpetuate his scam. I agreed to do the work described in this obviously fake ad in return for what I was told would be $500 a week plus another $160 for gas. This morning, I received a check drawn on a Wells Fargo account. The name of the company is ILSC of San Francisco. I researched this company on-line and discovered that this is the name of some Language training school in California. I also became more suspicious of the signature on the check since it was neither John Lennon nor Danny Christopher. I narrowly missed becoming criminally liable for uttering a forged instrument when I attempted to cash this check at a local Wells-Fargo branch. Please be wary of this person. My next step is to report him to the Attorney General of Florida.
