Complaint: When I took my 95 Windstar van to Heisley Tire & Brake Inc. for brake problems I was told they would hook the vehicle up to the computer to verify what the problem is for sure. They did not hook up the computer like they said. They took the van for a test drive first and as soon as they returned put the van on the lift and came to get me to look at the van together. The owner of the company told me the right axle was damaged and needed to be replaced. I asked him if this was the problem or not and he assured me it was definatly the problem. Well aftwer spending all day at his shop he informed me he got a bad part and he could not finish the van that day that I would have to leave the van and pick it up the next day. The next day the owner called me to pick the van up and while talking to him he says the axle i payed $253.80 for was not the problem and that now I needed some more parts and more money to fix the original problem. I reported him to the Better Business Bureau and he responded that he was not going to do anything for me or try to settle the dispute. Mike Mentor, Ohio
