Complaint: Unfortunately, I have to spend the next 15-20 minutes of my and your time typing/reading this complaint, so that more people wouldn’t find themselves in the same situation that I find myself in. I don’t want to make this a long story but this is how it all started: I purchase 2 HID conversion kits for my car (For individuals that don’t know what they are: Those are the really bright, usually bluish-purple lights you see on luxury cars). They were $460 a piece, so I basically paid this guy, Ken Wong, close to $1000 for these products. I had the kits professionally installed and right from the start one of the bulbs wasn’t as bright as the other three. Right away I contacted Ken and asked him from his experience to tell me what the problem could be (I thought that he would know due to his claims that he sells a lot of them and that his company is just growing at an incredible rate). Well, it turns out that he didn’t know what he was talking about and told me that that particular bulb is bad. He tried to blame it on me, saying that I or the installers may have touched the glass part of the bulb, and I told him that I watched them during the entire install process and no one had touched the glass on the bulb. He advised me to send the bulbs back to him and he would replace them. Well, what happened is I ended up buying another set of those bulbs from him (for $270 without the ballasts) so that I would avoid being charged for labor twice and I made a deal with him to give me a refund when he sends the bulbs off for testing to make sure that it hasn’t been touched, in other words that I didn’t break it. So the bulbs went to some factory in Asia, and he told me that they didn’t find a problem with the bulbs and that he will send me those bulbs back. I said, wait a minute, that wasn’t what you promised to do (give me my money back for the bulbs) he started lying and denying that he ever said that. So, I finally gave up arguing with an unethical liar and told him to send me the bulbs back. Now, 3 months later, I haven’t seen the bulbs, he won’t respond to my e-mails and he won’t answer my phone calls. He is a disgrace to the human kind and I will never do business with him again, and probably not with eBay either because of the geographical location of these sellers. I am not threatening, but if Ken ever reads this, I just want to tell him that he should consider himself very lucky that we live in different states. That’s all I have. Please be very cautious when dealing with people online, especially jerks like KEN WONG. By the way, $1300 later I still have the same problem, which makes me really irate!!!
