Complaint: I was born and raised in Pennsylvania I had a driver’s license at one point which due to my stupidity and addiction I lost it due to numerous DUIs which I served 5 years in prison for completed my sentence mandated time have since then been on Social Security disability due to mental health issues and I never had a problem getting an identification card but now I am being told that because of my driving infractions in the past Pennsylvania is refusing to give me one and I can go to another state and live there. I have been turned away from jobs because I can’t prove who I am I have not been able to visit my son because you can’t board a plane without identification I have not been able to do my doctor’s appointments therapy or anything because I have no identification I am now having to put my treatment on hold because my doctors won’t see me without my ID I can’t have a surgery that I desperately need because I don’t have an ID so am I supposed to just die because I don’t have an ID I paid my price for my past and I don’t feel this is fair at all I will not say I was wrong by getting DUIs I wasn’t completely wrong but I did 5 years of my life upstate as my sentence for my mistakes why am I being punished all over again when my health is failing!
