Complaint: I received a flyer from Making home affordable saying I was pre-qualified and eligible for mortgage assistance there is an option to save my home. Expiration date 4/1/16. I was in trouble so I was willing to do anything to try to save it. I was hospitalized lost my job and fell behind. The flyer not only said they would get me a Much lower payment but also my principal balance would be reduced over 100 000. My current payment was 2222 flyer said it would go to 753 dollars. After talking many times with Darren Jacobson who he called himself. He told me he could not save me 100 000 off my principal balance nor would my payment be 753. He told me my new payment would be 1600 which is still quite a savings for me if it could be done. Well I was told he was 100 percent sure it could be done. The Samartan. Law Center charges 3 months. Mortagage. Payment as there fee. So every mth I was to send 1600 to the Samaratan. Law center Afterwards I would be sending to my bank Wells Fargo. Well I was also told that if my loan was not to be approved they legally could not keep my money and I would be refunded. Well Darren. Jacobson if there is anyone really out there by that name never returned any of my calls after receiving my money almost 5000 dollars. His cell number and the Samaratan Law Center are now all disconnected they took my money and I’m loosing my home and must be out by 4/24/17. If there is anyone who could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I hope all that were involved in this scam ROT in HELL. And are severely. Punished.
