We have a pony that is severely foundered, we are on our last ditch attempt before putting her down. Upon the advice of our vet we purchased a pair of Soft-Ride Equine Comfort Boots to make her more comfortable. Because it was urgent we get these on her we paid a $50 expediting fee to get them over nighted. We ordered them on Thursday, they arrived Monday. First indication I wasn’t dealing with a good company. Because of the misshapen hooves, we called a representative and had them help us size them, then ordered them over the phone. An extra $100 for two different sized boots. Another $70 for the inserts they recommended. We paid just under $400 for these boots. I asked what to do if they arrived and didn’t fit. I was told to call them immediately. Guess what? Didn’t fit when we got them. Called them that day, and three days later. Then emailed them. No response for two weeks, and that was only after I posted a social media rant. They said to send them back to get the right size even though they had been worn. Pony now has no boots again. Sent them back, they called me a week later and said they couldn’t be returned because they were worn, however they would keep the unused inserts and credit my card $70. Only received a $50 credit. And now I have a pair of $400 boots that are useless to me. I want to get the word out to all horse people to NOT deal with this company, the customer service is absolutely awful.
