I ordered a tarp for a building of mine that needed to be 40×40…saw this tarp…ordered it. Received the tarp and the shipping label had the description as a 40×40 tarp. SO I opened it and put it on the roof of my building only to find that it was short. I thought “Why in the world would someone sell a tarp and bother to put the size 40×40 if the tarp is short?”” After emailing and calling the company they asked me to send pics of what the problem is…so I took pics emailed them. Days later
received an email saying that the tarp website clearly states that the tarp can be 6″” up to 2% smaller than what actual size should be and by looking at the pics
my tarp is not smaller than 6″” or 2% short. OK. But my tarp is clearly more than 2% smaller than 40×40. So I have called everyone at the company for some help. All I wanted them to do was send me a 40×40 tarp. They suggested I buy another one or they said they would ask if they could ship me a 10ft tarp. NO I need a 40×40 tarp. Pics clearly show that my tarp is 30ft1/2″” when in all reality should be 40ft. I just keep getting the run around. I asked them how they are getting their 2% figures…confronted them that they are doing their math wrong…All this over a tarp. Just make the tarp the size you say you are making it. I am the one being treated like I have done something wrong…when in all reality
they messed up and don’t want to take the blame for it and fix it. nPippinnStockbridge
