Complaint: We bought a 2001 Blazer and from 35,000 miles until now we have had problems. We took the Blazer into service shop in Aug 2003. They supposedly fixed it but when I went to get in the blazer it was making a noise that was not there before. The service guy who helped us had suddenly gone to lunch and so I took the Blazer home that day. I did tell one of the other guys about the problem before I left and he gave me a dumb look and handed me his service card. Whatever! Now when we took it back in the next week they did something else and we had to pay another deductible! So in 7 days we forked out $400. The problems just kept happening. We took it back in Aug 2004 and the warranty was out on it. So $950 out of our pockets. Sept 2004 we took it in again because of a knocking. Well, they come back and quoted us $4500 to fix it. We had to have another vehicle because of my husband works out of town. So we bought another car which we got totally screwed on in financing. The neck twister here is that we had the blazer towed to another mechanics shop and it cost us $175 !!! I have paper work on both what Vandergriff quoted me and the receipt of the other shop. So we now have a 3rd vehicle that we really didn’t need and we are stuck. Do you think these people care? NO! I don’t know how they sleep at night. Jennifer Venus, TexasU.S.A.
