Complaint: After getting my 15-point oil change at WalMart I reviewed the check list which accompanies the receipt. I noticed that everything on my car was perfect! All four of my tire treads were standard and noted at 7.32, my windshield wipers were intact, all of my lubrications had been filled and capped, etc. However, when I took my car in for service one of my tires was almost bald and one of my windshield wipers needed a new wiper since the metal part was scraping my windshield. The following day I returned my car to WalMart and told the manager there to check my car and to see that one tire is bald and that one of my windshield wipers needs a new blade. I further asked how the checklist could show that those two things were in order and had been checked by WalMart employees, when in fact they had not. I asked for a refund citing the lies which were in black and white on the checklist report. He agreed and I received a refund. A week or so later I began to hear a slight knock under my hood. I decided to look under the hood to ensure that WalMart had in fact filled the required engine lubricants. To my surprise, the oil looked rather brownish, the water coolant bottle was as dry as a desert as was my steering fluid botte. I believe that the only reason that the window washer fluid bottle was almost full because I had changed that myself a few weeks before my visit to WalMart. And, that had not even been topped-off.
