Here’s a weird one…ordered a watch from Watchmaxx on Ebay paying with PayPal. Received a notice from PP that the seller’s email for PP payment is unregistered, and payment cannot go through. I call the WatchMaxx number listed on their website to investigate. They tell me it’s a copy cat company I’m looking for, they know about it and they have reported them to Ebay. Turns out WatchMaxx, and another seller using the WatchMaxx name and info, are both selling on Ebay. Buyers need to be careful when purchasing from Watchnet that they confirm that the seller can be reached, price and authenticity. The real Watchnet is a New York based watch seller. Why Ebay has the copy cat still up is very questionable. I immediately cancelled PP payment.
